Small Unit Riverine Craft (SURC)
The SURC is a rigid-hull, armed and armored patrol boat to maintain and gain control of rivers and inland waterways.The primary task the SURC can be used for is to provide tactical mobility and a limited weapons platform for ground troops in watery area's.
Secondary tasks it can preform are :patrol, mede-vac, humanitarian assistance, reconnaissance, supply and evacuation operations.
The boat is designed to be transportable by C-130 Hercules.
